What are Fortnite Patch Notes: When and how did it happen
Fortnite Patch notes, in general, are minor upgrades that developers keep releasing every now and then to keep gamers engaged with the games. It also fixes bugs of the previous versions while offers seasonal appearances just as the Christmassy looks on the recent V10.30 patch notes release.
Fortnite Patch notes have two primary responsibility-
- Fixing bugs of the previous versions to help gamers get a smooth gameplay experience.
- Releasing minor updates during the game to increase the excitement and engagement of the players.
Once a player downloads the patch notes, he needs to install it to get the recent upgrades in his game.
Following the release of Chapter 2, on October 15, players were complaining about some significant issues in game development. That resulted in a whirlpool sort of condition since unlike the previous Fortnite update, Epic Game stayed silent.
Thankfully, on December 12, Epic Games released the V10.30 patch notes that resolved most of the issues.
Previously, the patch notes went Black Hole, and rumours grew like a fast-paced Hurricane. Nonetheless, Epic games kept their silence. We now know how did they use the talks as a brilliant strategy to advertise their game development.
What an epic strategy! Jokes apart, Epic Games patch notes were officially released on October 22nd. Although it has some downtime, according to the experts, the official patches are available on the Trello page.
Now lets’ stop biting around the bush and take a look at the patch notes updates.
Fortnite Patch Notes: Major Issues of the V11.30
Since the release of chapter 2, a lot of complaints were brewing in from the players. Fortunately, Fortnite addressed the issues quickly and brought the patches to solve the problems. However, these patch notes were mainly for console players with minor changes in the PC platform.
General gameplay issues
- Severe complain about not getting proper material for upgrades on the Arena.
- Issues regarding the ‘Safe Zone’. Complains were that players were returning to the V01 automatically during login.
- It had a previous issue regarding the surprise disappearance of the Magma Wrap.
Gamers, leakers, and data miners all commonly expressed that the patches would bring more content to other modes. Battle Royale would be left out from the patch upgrades. The case seems to be accurate as of the news we have till now.
Major patches to address and solve the problems
Fortunately, Epic Games, the parent developer of the Fortnite, were quick to respond to the standard frame drop issue (FPS) that was due from the releasing date.
Thus, on October 22, they brought the 1st patch to mitigate the FPS issue. Since then, we haven’t heard about the FPS complications from the PC players.
The V10.30 patch releasing also introduced a few tweaks to prepare for the upcoming Fortnite Star Wars event that is expected to be released late this month.
During the release of Chapter 2, there was no chance of playing together using a split-screen. Thankfully, Epic Games realized it and has brought the Split Screen alternative in the 11.30 patch notes.
Now you can play duos or even trios on your XBOX or PS4. That’s a great update.
I told you earlier that Battle Royale this time has fewer patches; however, one significant improvement is clearly visible in the open water challenge mode. Epic seems to have made some small tweaks to address the issue.
Moreover, the 11.30 version has introduced an unnamed location in the recent map. It is situated in the northwest corner of the map and looks like an ice fort.
Dude, it looks amazing and awaits to be looted. Don’t wait, instead, go fast and claim it. The most amazing fact about the map is that it is taking a Christmassy look with a blanket covered all around.
The Party Hub now allows you to see the different items in the shop before you load the game. You will have to open the party hub first to see the items. Then swipe to the right side and open the ‘preview’ section to see what the shop has to offer for you.
Previously item shop gifts were limited to only 3, but now it has increased to 5. That sounds cool.
From now on, you will be able to see a visual representation instead of a solid bar about the remaining Ammos of your weapons. It does look soothing in the eyes. Apart from these patch notes, Epic Games have introduced two equipment and weapons on the last release. These are-
- Snowball Launcher
- Present (A gift pack)
Players had high hope that the Battle Royale Fortnite patch notes would bring whooping changes in the mode. However, the reality is that it would always be a big shot to bring about such sweeping changes.
As a matter of fact, the Battle Royale saw some minor fixes, and we haven’t heard any news that there might be some changes soon. So, for now, gamers would have to be satisfied with the already released patch notes.
